YES, we love and appreciate (so much) that people want to spend their hard earned dollars on gifts for our kids. And quite honestly, their time too! ‘Cause, how easy is it to guess what a good gift for someone else’s child might be?! Not very.
But at the same time, does anxiety start to creep in, when we picture the impending deluge and where it all might possibly fit? Also yes. So today fearless readers, we want you to get prepared for that which you know is coming. Take some time with your child to go through their belongings from the past year. What can they part with? What have they outgrown? Pitch or donate what you’re able to and organize the rest. It will be good practice for them. ‘Cause wouldn’t you rather them start Marie Kondo-ing now, rather than training for their future episode of Hoarders?
And once you’ve done all that, do you need to visit Target’s home aisle or possibly even do a (gasp) trip to Ikea for some lovely new organizational furniture and solutions? This writer says, yup … she thinks you really do.
